Trunkt

Soo...I got accepted onto Trunkt! *jumps in the air and does impossible backflips!* I had tried earlier, and sadly got rejected. But I kept at it, built a more professional web page (www.artbyangie.ca btw, in case you're interested)...and now I'm in, so I've passed that crazy selective panel! Yet, just another milestone in this crazy art career.

This pillow cover is just awesome. I love how it's so bright and has a crazy crazy pattern on it!

T'was my Birthday!

Wow, I haven't written here in a while...boo to me! But live has been a little hectic I must admit, with getting school going and all that jazz.



Anywho, this past weekend was my birthday - and what a wonderful birthday it was!!!


The only downside though, is that this weekend, I realized that I'm the oldest in the house - the oldest!...Now, understand, I have always been significantly younger then my roomies, but now being the oldest I feel, well, old! *Sigh*...

Etsy Feature: TenJewel

TenJewel on Etsy is an online store offering very elegant and original handmade jewelry created by designer Lisa. Based in Ireland, Lisa meticulous work shines out - and it definitely caught my eye. She offers a variety of jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

I especially enjoy her detailed descriptions of her products, so you know exactly what you are purchasing down to the wire.

Etsy Feature: Sour Kittens Glass's

Sour Kitten was created by Mel in Toronto, Ontario - semi-local talent for me (I live a couple hours out of there). Mel combines both the glass fusing and the silk screening techniques to create beautifully unique and modern pieces of jewelry. The two below pieces in particular caught my eye (clicking on them will lead you to their listings on Etsy):
